# Agent internal error

> Resolve the error returned when the Maia runner hits an unexpected problem it can't handle.

## Error message

This error can appear when using the following components: [Salesforce Output](https://docs.maia.ai/docs/components/salesforce-output.md) and [transformation components](https://docs.maia.ai/docs/components/transformation-pipeline-overview.md).

### Explanation

The Maia runner hit an unexpected problem it couldn't handle. The reference in the message lets Maia Support find the detailed log for this exact failure.

### Potential causes

An unhandled exception occurred inside the Maia runner. The cause isn't visible from the message.

## Resolve the error

1. Re-run the pipeline once to see whether the failure repeats.
2. If it repeats, copy the full error message, including the quoted reference.
3. [Contact Maia Support](https://support.matillion.com/s/) and include the items listed below. Support can use the reference to trace the failure.

   * The quoted support reference from the message.
   * The root pipeline execution ID and Maia runner ID.
   * How often the error happens and whether it started after a change.
