The Alter Table component lets users enable or disable the Snowflake Search Optimization Service on any table, provided the table uses the supported data types of Integer, Numeric, Date, Time, Timestamp, Varchar, or Binary.
This component is specifically for managing the Search Optimization Service and does not support general schema changes, such as adding or removing columns.
